Campus buyer questions
- Can a department buy directly from STG?
- Yes, through your campus procurement office or a purchase order. UC Small Business First and the CSU SB/DVBE Option keep most department purchases quick.
- Do you work with the printers we already have?
- Yes. We sell and service Brother, Canon, and Ricoh, and we maintain the desktop printers you already own, so you can standardize on your own timeline.
- Can you manage student printing?
- Yes. PaperCut handles quotas, pay-for-print, and secure release across library and lab printers.
- What does the portal cost?
- Nothing. The STG Portal is free to join, and the fleet assessment it produces is free.
- Do you cover campuses outside Northern California?
- Yes. All 58 counties. Our technicians work out of Rohnert Park, minutes from Sonoma State, and partners cover areas outside our 16-county footprint.
